About KIST Medical College

KIST Medical College & Teaching Hospital is one of the well-established private medical institutions in Nepal, located in Imadol, Lalitpur. Established in 2006, the college is affiliated with the Institute of Medicine (IOM), Tribhuvan University, and has earned a strong reputation for providing quality medical education, clinical training, and healthcare services.

The college offers MBBS, BDS, B.Sc. MLT, Bachelor of Pharmacy, MD/MS, MDS, DM, and MCh programs. KIST focuses on developing competent healthcare professionals through a combination of academic excellence, practical learning, research activities, and ethical medical practice. Students receive training from experienced faculty members using modern teaching methods, advanced laboratories, and digital learning resources.

KIST Medical College operates its own full-fledged teaching hospital with around 300+ beds and a separate dental hospital. The hospital provides extensive clinical exposure through various specialties including cardiology, nephrology, neurology, gastroenterology, oncology, pediatrics, gynecology, surgery, intensive care services, and emergency medicine. Modern facilities such as ICU, CCU, NICU, dialysis units, Cath Lab, MRI, CT Scan, and advanced diagnostic services help students gain valuable hands-on experience.

The institution follows the vision of creating competent, humane, and compassionate healthcare professionals while promoting excellence in education, healthcare, and research. Its peaceful campus environment, modern infrastructure, hostel facilities, and multicultural student community make it a preferred destination for both Nepali and international students, particularly from India.
